Congratulations Medical Graduates

Congratulations 2013 Medical Graduates!!

From the lakes of Bancroft to the wine country of Picton, in the 401 corridor from Brighton and Trenton over to Belleville, Quinte Health Care’s catchment area is 7,000 sq km of diverse and beautiful countryside. With four hospital sites and offering both primary and secondary services, QHC is seeking family physicians for Bancroft and Quinte West and specialists (Paediatricians, Intensivists and General Internists) to join our team. Please visit www.qhc.on.ca for additional information.

QHC partners with our surrounding communities to attract physicians to our beautiful area. The City of Quinte West (population 41,500) lies along the Bay of Quinte and is the gateway to the Trent Severn Waterway. Quinte West currently has $100, 000 recruitment incentive aimed at the medical students and new graduates (www.city.quintewest.on.ca). Additionally, the Municipality of Brighton (population 11,000) is a thriving community, known as the gateway to Presqu’ile Park. The Brighton/Quinte West Family Health Team offers services at three locations: Brighton, Quinte West and Colborne. Each facility houses family physicians and other health related services. QHC is also recruiting for family physicians at our North Hastings site. North Hastings is situated in the rolling Hastings Highlands south of Algonquin Park; residents enjoy 615 crystal clear lakes and the sparkling waters of the Crowe, York and Madawaska Rivers. North Hastings is a summer and winter sports haven, a four season recreational playground. In return for a five-year commitment to practice, qualified medical graduates may be eligible for a financial support package of up to $150, 000. (www.north-hastings.com)

Secondary specialties, ER and locum opportunities are available. The Quinte area offers a superb lifestyle, economics, recreation, incomparable scenic waterfront and landscapes, and a professional environment, making the region one of the best places to live in Ontario.
